This is the third and last Meters album to feature that really raw, early seventies sound. Pure dirty, exactly how it should be.

Apparat Organ Quartet
Apparat Organ Quartet has grown into a phenomenal force, playing soul-stringly portentous mechanical music, equal parts progressive rock and horror film soundtrack, reminiscent of older acts like Kraftwerk and Goblin and meticulous as Sigur Ros but who sound nothing like it.

Clutchy Hopkins The Life Of
Ever since I first discovered Clutchy's music, I've been obsessed with finding out the true story behind the shadowy bearded figure. The deeper I dig, the more I find myself asking who is this dude? All i know is that his or hers music is definitely the real deal. A lot of theories suggest that it could be an alias for Cut Chemist, DJ Shadow, The Beastie Boys, Money Mark, Madlib, or DJ Panzah Zandahz

DJ Yoda & Dan Greenpeace Jews Paid Too
Yoda and Greenpeace are undoubtedly the mixtape kings of the UK. The duo dropped a number of cassette only mixtapes at such independent record stores as Mr Bongos, Deal Real and Mad Flava in the London area back in the day. I remember these tapes very well and after the continual requests to re-issue them, the cassettes have been digitally remastered. This is a true piece of history that has taken them to international success
Portishead Third
Bristol-based Portishead were one of the most influential British groups of the 1990s. With 1994's Dummy and 1997's self-titled album they came to define a genre called "trip-hop", combining downtempo electronica, jazz and Beth Gibbons' tremulous, despairing vocals. Third is the sort of thing you'd expect to hear just before a hired gun played by Lee Van Cleef accidentally shoots an innocent child. Go support.....

Damu The Fudgemunk Spare Time
Damu the Fudgemunk, who doubles as half of the group Y Society, dug into his vaults to compile this previously unheard collection of vintage beats. Spare Time breaks us off with crispy, sampled drums and intricately chopped to death samples destined to keep heads nodding and mp3 players rumbling until the next release. More than a mere beat snippet compilation, Spare Time presents full length tracks that showcase masterful low pass filtering and phenomenal breakdowns, many of which occur at the very end of the track. Definitely the remedy for what a beat head really craves.
