Matthew Dear As A Breed

Dear's vocal isn't exactly the strongest, but he certainly plays it well. At times it's Bowie-Esq and others a country drawl being helped along by double or triple tracking and I'd imagine even more complex studio equipment. However it's his self consciously schizophrenic approach which suits the shifting lyrical narrative.
Asa Breed is a delightful varied range of styles from his Audion days to Talking Heads whilst throwing in a hidden track which is reminiscent of Johnny Cash
